Honoree Gregory Hyder

Mr. Gregory Hyder will be honored as our 2010 Man of Vision on May 21^st, at our 12^th Annual Gift of Sight Gala, benefitting Midwest Eye-Banks.

Greg, a member of the Gift of Sight Gala Committee, has been a dedicated supporter of the Eye-Bank for more than a decade. He is the Director of Catering and Conference Services at The Peninsula Chicago, the city’s top five-star hotel. With more than 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry and numerous awards under his belt, Greg, a Tennessee native, oversees all functions and draws on impressive credentials in event organization. He has created private dinner parties for the Bush and Clinton families and collaborated with renowned chef Georges Perrier of Le Bec Fin.

Greg has been named a “Man to Watch” by Chicago magazine and honored as a “Man of Style” by Chicago Social magazine. A community leader, his philanthropic efforts and energy resonate across the city.
