The Donor Memorial Garden: A Living Memorial

Midwest Eye-Banks' Donor Memorial Garden is located at the Eye-Bank's Ann Arbor, Michigan home. It was created in memory of eye, organ and tissue donors who have provided the gifts of sight and life, and in honor of their families, who have helped to make these gifts possible for others in spite of their own personal loss.

We invite you to create your own living tribute. Dedicate a part of Midwest Eye-Banks' Donor Memorial Garden to the memory of a loved one, or in honor of a special someone or event. We offer naming opportunities for engraved pavers and other elements of the garden. Click here for more information.

The Donor Tribute Web Site 

The Donor Tribute Web site, http://www.donortribute.org, is Midwest Eye-Banks' online community for donor family members and friends in Illinois, Michigan and New Jersey. Family members must often make the difficult decision to give the gift of sight and, possibly, the gift of life by consenting to donate a loved one's eyes, organs or tissues. The Donor Tribute Web site pays tribute to the memory of a loved one by allowing family and friends to share something of the donor's life. It is also a tribute to the donor's family for choosing to share that person's life in the most meaningful way we know - through eye, organ and tissue donation.
